Strutts Community Centre hosts 30 artists as part of Belper Arts Trail – Sunday 5th & Monday 6th May, 10.30 – 4.30.

LARGE CAR PARK. REFRESHMENTS. Trail guides and wristbands available from Strutts – £5 per person (under 16s free).

Help support our local pubs part three! 🍻🍺 (links below) A slightly shorter but just as beautiful 5 mile walk from Holbrook through Dumble Woods and amazing views of the Derwent valley before heading to Makeney and pub number one, the Holly Bush. Then along the route of the Derwent Valley Way, past an Elizabethan farmhouse and through a play park ( yay!) to pub number two, The White Hart at Bargate, and finally back to the Wheel Inn, Dead Poets and Spotted Cow in Holbrook.This is the last of three routes starting at the Spotted Cow & Calf 🐮 in Holbrook. Detailed routemaps for each walk can be bought from the Spotted Calf cafe for £1 and well worth it as they contain loads of background details and history, as well as alternative routes if you want a shorter walk!
