We’ve been delighted to host several events recently.
During October, a volunteers coffee morning social was held to say a little thank you our wonderful team and to welcome some new faces too.
Former Strutts pupil (and chief football correspondent for the BBC!), Mike Ingham MBE, returned to the school hall for our ‘In Conversation with’ event, where Mike talked about his life and career and signed copies of his autobiography Extra Time and Penalties’.
Both were very enjoyable events.
In November, we were treated to a performance of ‘Hefted’, a play brought to us by the Multi Story Theatre Group, all about how we are deeply connected to the land.
December will see some more events including a Christmas social and a fantastic Christmas show for the children – ‘Rudolph’s Christmas Cracker’ in association with Belper Fringe.
